Mitt “Quit” Romney has suspended his presidential campaign. In an emotional farewell to his fans, he said, “I cannot allow the continuation of my campaign to aid in the surrender to terror.” We did not make that up, HE did. His warmth and wit will be sorely missed in the coming months. Barack Obama shocked his growing fan base by announcing that he has changed his campaign slogan from “Change We Can Believe In” to “Change We Can Believe In.” Said Sen. Obama, “There is one thing that WILL not change, my fellow Americans, and that is my repeated use of the word Change.”

Lost Romney, have McCain and Hukabee; might get Hillary, don’t want Obama.
This is an interesting time to be watching politics. I think many of Obama’s people are stuck in the 60s. I remember being all ga ga eyed as a youth and falling for every “new” candidates “new” line. There is nothing new here except for gender and race. Unfortunately the two new “types” of politicians have old ideas. I have a great post on this subject at: http://riggword.wordpress.com/.
Check it out and leave me a message telling me what you think.

Jon Stewart had the greatest take on “Quit” Romney’s reasoning. I paraphrase: “So, if Mitt Romney continued to run for President, then we would be surrendering to the terrorists.”

In response to Rigg, I’m not sure where he gets the idea that Obama’s “people” are stuck in the 60s, as a large number of them weren’t even born then.
Besides, what’s wrong with being “stuck” in the 60s? Do you mean as opposed to being “stuck” in the 21st Century with Bush?
